Hope You had a blessed Thanksgiving!

My husbands family held thanksgiving this year in Wichita Falls Tx. We seen all sorts of family and had a ton of laughs! 

We also got out our cameras and took some really fun pictures!

What comes after the huge meal? No not just sleeping- Shopping!! Black Friday shopping! Something I get so excited about but this year with two little boys we decided not to brave the cold and crowds. We did however do some online shopping! Toys r us had a few good deals with free shipping and we were able to get most everything the boys were wanting with out the super long lines! Now its time to start decorating the house for Christmas! As for our tree this year, we are planning to buy our first live tree so pictures on it will have to wait. But my overall theme is going to be silver crystals and lime green!

Another one of my favorite times is craft fair season!! Every year perryton Tx has a craft fair and oh did we find some real treasures there too!

This painting came from the K Yanke Designs booth and now is in our newly painted white bedroom!

My grandmother also found a beautiful blue and silver wreath and my mom found three super cute hand made quilts! I think we did really well overall!

This year our boys are going to be "thing one" and "thing two" from Dr. Seuss's Cat in the hat. We bought red footed pj's and made the emblem out of felt! The only thing left is some blue hair... 

Progress in the laundry room! This is the new wall border I put up. It is just on one wall so that it wasn't to overwhelming.

This was Evan's latest project. I was so happy to finally have a place to display my grandmothers sewing machine. All the rest is pretty much just stuff!

Here are those metal panels I was talking about earlier from Coyote Candle. They are really pretty I just have to find some where else for them to go! Maybe the back of a shadow box?

CHRISTMAS!!!

I'm getting really excited about Christmas this year! For the first time we are having my family here at our home! So that means I get to cook the ham and put up a HUGE tree!! Decorate!!! It has put me into a tizzy too! lately I have had a creative bug. I can not seem to stop painting and sewing! Im sure that its almost to the point of driving my family bonkers but at least all the little projects are getting finished!

So happy with how they turned out! Just long enough to brush the ground but not puddle to much! they are super wide too.. I probably could have cut one panel in half and made two more curtains but I'm starting to like how they bunch at the top!  

Now I'm working on a new shelf in the laundry room and putting all the finishing touches on our kitchen! I will post more pictures soon!
